Providing animal control and adoption services for
Salina and Saline County, Kansas
One of the most valuable service our volunteers can do for the shelter is
to become a foster parent.  Foster homes feed, care for, train, socialize
and most importantly love shelter animals.  With daily TLC, fostered
animals rebuild their trust, loyalty, and confidence in themselves and
humans, becoming more adoptable. This act of kindness also frees up
shelter space, saving more animals from euthanasia.
All you do is to provide a
temporary home with lots of TLC!
Food and approved vet care is
provided.
Fostering time ranges from 2 days
to 3 weeks.
As a foster parent, you provide help with.....
Dogs waiting to go on the Rescue Waggin’
Sick or injured dogs or cats needing quiet
space and extra attention
Expectant and nursing moms and their
puppies and kittens
Gypsy Plus 8?
Or 9 or 10....?
