The Salina Dog Park, located directly behind the Animal Shelter, officially opened
to the public in July, 2001. The park has 13,500 square feet of fenced exercise
area, divided into two separate sections for small and large dogs. The park's
design provides plenty of opportunities for your canine friend to run, play ball,
socialize with other dogs, and even get some agility training. Fresh drinking
water for pets is provided in both areas, as are waste bags and trash cans for
cleaning up after your pet, as required by Park rules (listed below). Take your
dog to the park and have a ball!
