Collecting and donating Wish List items is a wonderful area in which organizations,
groups, or even children who are too young to volunteer, can make a great difference
to an animal.  It brings such joy to our hearts to see an animal's eyes light up and their
tails wag when they are given a toy to play with, or a used stuffed animal to cuddle.
We would like to thank everyone who donates items from our Wish List.  Everything
on this list is essential, every day of the week.  THANK YOU for all you do to help!

"Under a Canopy of Hope"
The art relief carved in the bricks of the Salina Animal Shelter is not only a beautiful piece of artwork,
but a teaching tool as well.  Many people visit the shelter to study the art.  Just looking at it tells its own story
about the animals that pass through the door: wildlife, exotic, and domestic animals,
all of them in need of care, under a canopy of hope.
